Brief Update .. Where I have been

Hi there,

It's been a long time since I posted anything here, I do miss this blog a lot!

So where have I been?

Well, for the past couple of months I've been preparing for the big move from Saudi to the States.

I'm doing my graduate work here and I'll be staying here for almost 2 years.

I'm looking forward to this journey!

And I can't wait to share my experience with you all..

I will need some time to settle in since I've only been here for almost 13 days only!

Daily Brushes * فرش المكياج اليومية

Good morning /evening all!

I thought I'd share the brushes I use on daily basis.

Frankly I used to use a lot more brushes everyday, but ever since I started this new job where I have little time to get ready at the morning, I decided to minimize the number of brushes and the amount of makeup. ugh right?

Let's Start!

Face Brushes

Starting from left:

Powder Brush by Sigma # F30

 I use for powder and sometimes for blush if I just want an ultra natural faded look!

 # F40 Blush Brush

Which  use for contour and blush at the same time, works wonders!

Concealer Brush # F70

I love to use this one to apply concealer under the brows! and to cover blemishes

Eye Brushes

Eyeshadow Brush by MAC # 242

I use this one to apply color on the eyelid.

Blending Brush # E40

This one is amazing for an overall blending for a faded  look. I'm totally in love with this one

Blending Brush # E25

Perfect for preciser blending and cut crease

Eyebrow brushes

I use 2 different brushes for my eyebrows which is not the most convineint thing in the world!

But I use one for the begging of the brow and the other one for the end of the brow and for a more precise look.

Makeupforever # sB

I use for the start of brow, gives a great faded look to the begging of the brow

MAC # 266

Amazing for a precise look towards the end of the brow.

MET Gala Makeup Looks

Good day everyone!

Here's some of the makeup looks I liked and felt like sharing them with you from the MET Gala

Karlie Kloss

her makeup is absolutely flawless and natural!

I loved how her foundation is actually see-through!

One thing I did not like is the fact that she has hooded eye and her makeup artist chose to

put a light color all over the led which emphasized the problem in her eyes. 

Blake Lively

Blake looks angelic with this choice of color and hairdo !

It would be a perfect look if she has chosen a bit of a lilac color on the lips though..

Rosie Huntington

Oh I love the eyeliner!

Again, it's a flawless look, even though I'm a bot disappointed by the fact that her skin looks

problematic even with foundation on! Looks like a wrong choice of primer maybe!

L'occitane Hand Cream Sale

I have got my hands on this 3 set hand creams from L'occitane for the price of one!!

They usually sell it separately but I was lucky enough to find this set..

.

it's one of the hand creams that I have purchased before and absolutely recommend! 

it contains shea butter ingredients which make my hands extra soft and silky!

I doubt that you can find this now but it wont hurt to look if they still offer this at your local L'occitane shop :)

♡Cronuts in London♡

Good evening/morning

I have recently tried a great bakery in London where me n my sisters 

Had the best and yummiest cronuts..

It's a small and cozy coffee shop in Sloane Street.

And we needed to have a small break from SHOPPING!

So we came across this coffee shop called Cocomaya!

What a fun name :p

Today I'll be sharing with you part 2 of my London Haul

It's devoted to my Illamasqua purchases so let's start!!

Brow Cake: Thunder

First thing I got is this brow powder (Thunder)

It's wax and powder all in one which makes it run smooth and gives great results.

I like it more than MAC's studio fix powder.

Hydra Veil

As you see I got this amazing primer for dehydrated skin..

It's a water-based primer to apply before makeup, it has a gel-like consistency

 works as an amazing primer and prevents you from having dry flaky foundation skin!!

It makes the skin surface so smooth and moisturized!!

It's perfect for thirsty skin as it equals drinking a glass of water for your skin!!

Sleek Haul ^ مشترياتي من سليك (London Haul Part 1)

Hello Beauties !!

I decided to share with you my recent purchases from London, but divide it into 3 or 2 parts, we'll see...

راح انزل مشترياتي من لندن ع شكل اجزاء وهالجزء راح اركز على مشترياتي من سليك..

شفت هالبراند وسامعة فيها من قبل بس مريت من عندها على عجل... بعدها نزلت بالانستقرام اسئل البنات وكثير مدحوها لي ورجعت لها وجبت هالاغراض...

أجمل شي ان الدرق ستور كان تحت الهوتيل بالضبط.. و هالشي خطير! صرت اجي ازورهم كل يوم وأعطوني بطاقة عضوية لووول!!!

Best part was that the drug store was right next to our hotel.. which is a dangerous thing! :L

Garden of Eden Palette

I absolutely fell in love with the colors and the cute names of the eyeshadows!

I swatched them and tried to create a look using them and they were absolutely good quality! So close to MAC's eyeshadows...

.

Face Contour Kit

Perfect and quick contour and highlight palette for daily use! Definitely loved it!

كمان اخذت هالباليت حسيتها سريعة و عملية تنحط بالشنطة للاستخدام اليومي.. مع اني متخوفة من الهايلايتر شوي حسيته قوي، احب اللمعة تكون شي بسييط وبس.

...اخذت باليت نفسها بالضبط من الاماسكا راح تشوفونها بالبوست الثاني.. 

CC Cream

The CC cream is absolutely amazing! It blends well with the skin and is buildable... It reminded me of the  Healthy Mix Foundation! The medium shade was too dark though, and the light shade was actually a medium! So pay attention to that if you're trying to purchase it online..

السي سي كريم فاجئني!! اول مره يعجبني شي من طقة البيبي كريم وهالاشياء !!! 

مررره خفيف و شكله طبيعي ع البشرة.. اخذت الدرجة لايت و هي ثاني افتح درجة...

 الميديم غامق جدااا، اذا كنتو بتطلبونه بالنت انتبهوا لهالشي..

Sleek Lip Sticks

I got 2 Lip sticks, "Barely There" which is the last one here

It's the perfect shade between a coral, a pink, and a nude!! it stays on for really long time as I have wore it for an entire day and didn't feel the need to retouch it a lot!

Their lipsticks also contains Vitamin which I find awesome!!!..

ارواجهم حجمها صغير و هالشي خوفني لان الارواج تخلص بسرعه و اكره شي عندي اشتري روج من برا ويخلص كيف ارجع اجيبه لووول.. لازم انتظر مدة، وﻻ احد يقول لي اشتري اكثر من حبة.

..ما احب هالحركة تحسسني ان الميك اب رز لوول..

المهم اخذت لونين من ارواجهم واحد مات والثاني كريمي.. الكريمي اللي اخذته هو موجود بآخر الصورة اللي فوق.. حبيته لانه .

بين البينك والكورال والنيود.. وكمان فيه فيتامين اي ع حسب اللي مكتوب بالعلبة.. 

.

وبالنسبة للمناكير اخذت الاربع الالون اللي شايفينها فوق بأول صورة..نفس حالة الارواج حجم صغير بس ما يخالف اشتري  شي عملي.. الالوان هذي البيسك اعتبرها وعندي منها درجات كثير من شركات ثانية..
